Hi, 2 issues. My GE dishwasher, DDT595SGJ5BB, had no power. I replaced control board and fixed that. But it lights up and beeps when off. Second issue. Won't run; beeps and light flashes. I replaced the door latch and it still emits the same signals.

It won’t let you start a cycle as the cycle option keeps switching from heavy, normal, light then rinse. Sometime when we turn the power off then hit start quickly it will start. If it does start it will go for the whole cycle. Also tried turning breaker off then odd time that will help

GE Dishwasher: Broken Latch Assembly - Male End

The plastic piece on the Latch assembly broke off and the door does not lock now. It is the part at the top of the dishwasher base that holds the door closed when in operation. It is the male end of the locking mechanism. The metal is still there but the plastic piece broke.
GE Dishwasher: GE gdt630psm6ss dishwasher Cycling and sporadic chime issues

Hello, my GE gdt630psm6ss dishwasher is not operating correctly. It started with sporadic chime issues as the control would excite randomly. Then, long run cycles (3-5 hrs or more) with trouble drying / heating. I have run all the steps in service mode and the drain, fill, wash, and heating element all perform corrctly. No error codes are shown. I will start a cycle, and i can hear the heater relay click and then the light on the turbidity sensor, and lights on the ui control will turn off and back on and then it tries to continue to run the cycle and repeats itself every minute or so and the cycle time stays the same. On occasion it seems to run normally and the cycle timer seems to come down in time. I have replaced the main control and the turbidity sensor. Suspecting now maybe an issue with the ui board as i have read there is possibly firmware and software issues with this model. Please help

GE Dishwasher: How to do a firmware update for GE Dishwasher that won't run?

I was told by a service technician who repaired my GE refrigerator and updated its firmware that my GE Dishwasher, model CDT835SSJ0SS, needs a firmware update to operate. The dishwasher won't run properly until I do. The firmware update corrects a problem with the appliance reading the touch panel. (GE replaced the panel twice and it still won't run.) I want to be able to do the firmware update myself but the device that enables the update is only available to licensed technicians. NOTE: If I had access to that device, I would have been able to repair my refrigerator on my own and saved a few hundred dollars.

The refrigerator and dishwasher have a lot of diagnostic information that we are not able to access without that device and I don't think it is fair. I am not a licensed service tech but I want to be able to read the information and do easy repairs like firmware updates without having to call GE.

GE Dishwasher: Dirty water left over after end of cycle above filter every time

After I open at the end of cycle dishes mostly clean but standing water left and usually a dirty color . 6 months ago I took off filter cleaned it out was really gross water below main filter housing then it was ok for a while. Now again looked and its dirty water again every time cycle ends and above main filter so I assume not draining properly. Drains into a garburetor that I can see and hear the water draining each cycle.
