GE Combo Washer Dryer: GE washer dryer combo washer door won't unlock at end of cycle

renters doing laundry and door won't open or unlock. She tried to put it to drain, thinking maybe it had not done that and now nothing works. All the lights are flashing especially "door locked". We have checked drain line and does not appear to be plugged. We did notice one of the water lines were turned off, don't know if it was cold or hot. But when we turned it on did not make any difference. We did unplug machine for 10 mins but that did not make a difference. It is a GE washer/dryer combo, model GUAP240EMIWW, series G2005439C. We have no manual for it as it came with the house when we bought it. Thanks Ava

GE Combo Washer Dryer: GE Spacemaker Washing Machine Not Draining

Model: WSLS1100H0WW

I was given this combo unit a while back and it recently stopped draining.

Upon troubleshooting, I found:

* It will spin if select “Spin Only” and there is no water present.

If I put the hose on the ground, it will siphon drain. (I brought it outside to troubleshoot and I ran it with clean water, no soap)

The drain pump makes a humming noise

The drain pump is not clogged with anything

None of the hoses going to the drain pump are clogged.

I recently purchased a replacement Official GE drain pump and it still will not drain

The washer is able to detect when the lid is not shut because it beeps to close lid when it’s running a cycle. I’m not ruling this out, but it’s at least a little functional.

After a while of the washer not draining, it says “Drain” on the display. Basically it wants me to drain it so it can advance to the next cycle.

So, before I start buying more parts, I want to ask the friendly people of ifixit!

Thanks, Nicole

GE Combo Washer Dryer: GE spacemaker washer/dryer combo not starting wash cycle

I have a GE spacemaker and the dryer runs fine but the washing machine stopped after partially filling yesterday. Now when we switch it on, nothing happens, no sounds, no lid locking, nothing. We had an issue with it before not draining and it was a clog we fixed, I don't think it is this because it's not even trying to start up.

GE Combo Washer Dryer: GE Washer/Dryer - Kit Cover Bracket

Hi folks. Let me preface this by stating that normally I would never accept delivery on something new that's not 100%. However, the reason I ask this is I'm temporarily disabled (foot surgery) and the logistics of just getting around are not pretty much less trying to get out to my detached garage where the washer is, etc., etc.

The unit GE GUD27ESSMWW came with a piece inside the washer reservoir loose - when they guy took out the cardboard packing material this metal thing came clanking out. It is Part #109 on this diagram and labeled "Kit Cover Bracket".

https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/p...)

--The link is correct but you need to add a ) to the end of it. This site is dropping it.

Anyone know what this is for? The unit appears to be working but I haven't been able to get out there and play with it much.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has advice!
