I have a 82e4bk0e002219 type E840 digital camera , bought in 2008. It has been working through out ,but has suddenly started to display - WTITE PROTECT in the viewing screen. After a suggestion by one of you I have checked the lock slid on the memory card, As this did not correct the problem I have bought a new replacement card-1gb. After fitting this the problem remains .The Write Protect is still there, Would there be a fault in the camera? What can you recommend I do? other than replace the camera?

I bought a used GE x500 camera, the battery door was missing, i order. a new battery door but now I can't figure how to get it to snap into place. I don't want to break the pins off which appear to be too long to fit the space provided. any help appreciated

Strong Batts to start. After 2-flash pictures, notice comes up that batteries are exhausted. I've had this camera for 10 years plus. Always good results until now. The exhausted batteries also feel warm as if they were shorted out.

I dropped my GE power pro series digital camera a few years ago just after getting it on the concrete and it stopped working. Nothing appears broken and there are no scratches or marks from it at all. It will power on when you plug it into a charger but then nothing. Is it fixable? I never got to use it.

GE Camera: Lens on E850 Refuses to retract when camera is shut off

My E850 8 Megapixel camera when last time used attempted to shut off when power button was depressed. However, Lens structure will not retract and lens cover close over lens. Have taken battery out and put it back into unit. Unit attempts to power up and audible "buzzing" not unlike "Grrrrrrrrrrrrr... Grrrrrrrrrr...". is then heard and will not stop until I remove battery again. What is the issue and is it repairable by myself. Thank You

My GE G100 won't turn on.. the power would on but it will shut immidiately even if i use a new battery.. and it doesn't charge at all.. no charging indicator. But im sure the charger is working fine because it worked with my tablet.. please hep.. what is the problem of my camera?
