Fujifilm X30: Why is the LCD screen not working?

When I turned the camera on, the screen appeared black. I could tell the camera was working and taking pictures because I could hear the shutter sound and it could still zoom in and out. I've tried turning the camera on and off multiple times, but it still will not turn on. My daughter's 1st birthday is coming up and I really need the camera to take pictures. Please help.

Fujifilm X30: How do I fix a camera that has been dropped in water?

I was trying to take a picture of my cat while giving her a bath, but she got scared and I dropped the camera into the bath tub. It was only in there for a few seconds, and now it won't turn on. Is there a way to fix it or is it trash?

Fujifilm X30: fuji x30 lens misaligned

Hi,

I had a daylight filter screwed onto the front of my fuji x30 lens. Over time dust got under the filter and onto the lens. But the filter was really locked on tight to the lens and next to impossible to get off. I finally got it off using some channellock pliers. Now when I turn the lens to "OFF" it won't go all the way to OFF, which means the camera won't turn off, and the "Indicator Lamp" blinks orange for about 30 seconds until the camera times out and turns off. The owners maual says; Blinks orange (Slow)

The zoom ring is positioned between ON and OFF. Pictures cannot be taken. (No kidding....)

Is there a way to realign the lens so it actually turns to off? BTW, the camera's focus is still perfect.

PLEASE HELP...

Thank you,

I have some dust on the sensor, but it is behind the first layer. Seems it is under the filter on the sensor, between the sensor itself and this filter.

If not, does anyone know, where to buy a new sensor?

Fujifilm X30: Replacing LCD display cable

Hello, few days ago the LCD of my camera stopped working. I tried to understand what was going on, and I noted that it depends on the position of the LCD display: when the display is in a precise position, it works normally, otherwise I cannot see a thing (but I can still see the baklight). I followed the ifixit instructions to disassemble the camera (just the step 18), and I found that the thin cable of the LCD display is damaged, it has a cut in the exact point in which it curves (and this explain why in a precise position the display was working).

Is there a way to replace only the LCD cable (hoping that the problem is only that)? Or I have to replace the entire LCD display? The camera is no longer under warranty, so could you please let me know where I can fing spare parts on the internet?

Thank you a lot!
