Fujifilm X-M1: Repair the power button?

The power button of my X-M1 powers "on" the device, but it doesn't stay "on".

It goes automatically to "off" after few seconds.

If I put the button between the position "on" and "off", sometimes the camera stays "on" and I can take many pictures.

When this occurs, the camera seems to work perfectly.

Apparently, the power button is somewhat broken or damaged ?

Is there a way to replace or repair this button after successfully disassemble the camera ?

Fujifilm X-M1: Screen glitching and freeze up my camera

TL;DR: My Fujifilm X-M1 sometimes works fine and takes pictures normally, but randomly the screen glitches (vertical lines, missing text) and the whole camera freezes. I can’t turn it off or use any function until I remove the battery. Not sure if this is caused by the screen, the battery, or something else. Looking for advice.

Full description:
Hi everyone,

I own a Fujifilm X-M1 that has a strange and intermittent issue. Most of the time, when I insert the battery and turn it on, the camera works normally and I can take pictures without any problem. However, randomly the camera boots into a kind of “frozen” state:

The LCD screen shows glitches (vertical lines, missing or distorted text).

The interface becomes unusable — I can’t navigate menus or change settings.

The camera doesn’t respond to any button presses, including the power switch. The only way to shut it down is by removing the battery.

Some additional info:

When it works, the camera does take pictures in all shooting modes.

I don’t currently have a lens to test, but I tried shooting with “shoot without lens” mode enabled, and it captures images fine.

The issue happens completely at random — sometimes it works, sometimes it locks up.

I can’t tell if the cause is related to the LCD, the battery, or maybe something on the main board.

Question:
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the X-M1 (or similar Fujifilm cameras)? Could this be a failing display, a power/battery contact issue, or maybe a motherboard/GPU fault?

I’ll attach some pictures of the glitches for reference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is the camera working fine:

After a while, randomically it starts glitching

Fujifilm X-M1: How do I diagnose a xm1 thats not turning on?

I know this is a very old camera, but its a beautiful 1. I managed to get my hands on a xm1 in mint condition for 150 euros. After a while of using it it stopped turning on. I am not really experienced in diagnosing electronics, but i gave it a shot. I took the camera apart and started trying things out. I found that the camera gives a reading of 0.3 volts without the battery inserted, and 8.25 volts with the battery inserted. However nothing changes to the readings if I use the on and off switch. I hope somebody can help me with this issue.

Fujifilm X-M1: Replacing electronic component of the shutter button

So, the shutter button on my Fujifilm X-M1 needs to be pressed super hard to release and take a photo. I did recently replace the power switch and I checked but the electronic component of the shutter button seems to be broken. Does anyone know where I could get a new electronic component or what part it is exactly?
