Fujifilm Instax Mini 9: Why my camera has blinking orange light when on?

Hi,

When I open my camera it starts blinking in orange and does not work. I've tried replacing the batteries according to majority of the guides and made sure nothing is stuck inside, however, nothing helped. Maybe someone solved this with similar problems and could let me know what steps they took?
Thanks

Fujifilm Instax Mini 9: Lens badly positioned thus dark photos

Hello I have ran into a problem with my instax camera.

I accidentaly dropped it and now the camera creates overly bright or overly dark photos to the point of not being able to see anything.

I know what causes the issue, the plastic bit behind the lens which is supposed to control the level of brightness is badly positioned (as you can see on the video).

I also can not switch to high key because the brightness dial simply wont let me.

I have worked on this camera before so I may have rebuilt it wrong but I hope someone can help me how to fix it so I dont have to buy a new one.
