My Fuji FinePix XP85 works fine except for taking blank/black photos/video. There doesn't appear to be anything blocking the lens. I've taken the battery out to reset things and put it back in. That made no difference. What would cause this and how do I fix?

Fujifilm FinePix XP80: Camera stopped taking images and now will not delete images

Had camera since 2015. Large memory chip with plenty of room. Stopped taking pictures, will not delete said pictures, will not take any more picture, and reformatting memory chip does nothing. Images still remain.

Reverts to 1.1.2015 in spite of resetting.

One suggestion was that it’s a failed condenser. Is this fixable or is there a workaround?

I need to see how the microphone is mounted to the motherboard so I can decide if I want to disassemble my XP80 and install a jack for an external microphone or not. Can anyone show that to me? Thanks
