Fujifilm FinePix S5000: EVF/LCD displays are a bright white colour

I have a problem with my S 5000 which has served me perfectly for almost ten years

Currently when I turn it on the view finder/display is bright white with no image showing (on both EVF and LCD) and it does not take photo's (or movies)

Can you tell me whats likely to be wrong with it/how much it might cost to get fixed ?

My zoom lense won't come out - even after battery has been replaced - it seems like something is jammed. didn't have an issue until recently - is there a repair or do i get rid of the camera

When I zoom in or out there is a slight grinding noise in the camera. What does this signal as far as the operation of the camera? How can this corrected?

Is there a replacement "spring" to open the flash? Can it be replaced? If lifted by hand and held open with soft rubber foam camera works very good.
