Fujifilm FinePix S1: Stuck in zoom position

my camera is stuck in the zoom position. it will not go back to the home position. the message on the screen reads: turn camera off. remove lens cap or obstruction and turn camera on. I don't have the lens cap on nor do I see anything in or around the lens that could be causing the issue.

I turn the finepix s on and it says there is a memory card error. So I replaced the memory card and nothing it still says it

The S1 shutter button takes a lot of finger pressure to take a photo. Much more than any other camera I've ever had.

Is this a common problem and how can I fix it?

Fujifilm FinePix S1: The lense that moves forwards is not synchronised with the camera itse

Whenever I zoom in, the lense going forwards acts as normal, but the camera system that actualy takes the shot is not synchronised with it meaning the more I zoom in the bluryer it gets. This was caused by someone holding the camera by its lense while extended and then trying to retract it so the camera is going up by zooming out causing a breaking sound like a loud click. Is there a way to fix this.

The menu operates as normal, only there is nothing in the viewfinder or on the screen when I look.

Fujifilm FinePix S1: My zoom lever spring is broken and the lever clicks.

When I zoom in or out the zoom lever stays at the end positions unless I pull with my finger.

The zoom function still works but its the lever thats busted. I end up with it zooming all the way in or all the way out cause the lever has no responsiveness anymore.

I think its the the spring thats detached or broken.

Can this be repaired or do i need to take it to a shop?
