My fuji finpix W3 stereo camera get switched on even when the lens cover is closed. Sometimes closing the lens cover will not switch off the camera. What to do. I am not finding any repair shop here. They are not familiar with this stereo camera.

my zoom toggle seems to be very tempermental when trying to zoom in and i wanted to see if there were any issues but i cannot open the camera enough to see the toggle because i cannot get the panel with the mode dial off of the main body

So i had this camera for a long time, used to be my childhood one, but for the past year or so i tried to figure out why isnt it working. Basically i switched the batteries and it did turn on, i could scroll through the old photos but once i tried to take a photo or video the camera automatically shut down and doesnt want to turn on. It does turn on after like ten minutes of letting it be but once i click the shutter it shuts off. So i wonder, is this fixable?

Does this camera have an internal battery that might now need replacing? And is this possible? I have owned it from new and recently this problem is occurring:

Every time I turn it on (unless almost immediately after last use) I am required to re-set the time and all my programmed features and preferences are lost. Still a useful camera, but this problem is annoying and time-wasting.

My camera still stays on when the lens is turned to the OFF position. I would like to try to fix this gem <3. Does anyone have any ideas?

It only turns off after 2 mins (battery saving setting) or when i take out the battery.

Fujifilm X30: X30 wont turn on

Hello, I have a X230 and the camera start in play mode but when i turn the on/off switch everything go’s to black/light blue and i can’t anymore go to the play mode. On a play mode I can see the photos using the lcd or viewfinder with no problem. After turn on/off the camera seems to be frozen and I gotta remove the battery.

Fujifilm X-M1: Screen glitching and freeze up my camera

TL;DR: My Fujifilm X-M1 sometimes works fine and takes pictures normally, but randomly the screen glitches (vertical lines, missing text) and the whole camera freezes. I can’t turn it off or use any function until I remove the battery. Not sure if this is caused by the screen, the battery, or something else. Looking for advice.

Hi everyone,

I own a Fujifilm X-M1 that has a strange and intermittent issue. Most of the time, when I insert the battery and turn it on, the camera works normally and I can take pictures without any problem. However, randomly the camera boots into a kind of “frozen” state:

The LCD screen shows glitches (vertical lines, missing or distorted text).
The interface becomes unusable — I can’t navigate menus or change settings.
The camera doesn’t respond to any button presses, including the power switch. The only way to shut it down is by removing the battery.

Some additional info:

When it works, the camera does take pictures in all shooting modes.
I don’t currently have a lens to test, but I tried shooting with “shoot without lens” mode enabled, and it captures images fine.
The issue happens completely at random — sometimes it works, sometimes it locks up.
I can’t tell if the cause is related to the LCD, the battery, or maybe something on the main board.

Question:
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the X-M1 (or similar Fujifilm cameras)? Could this be a failing display, a power/battery contact issue, or maybe a motherboard/GPU fault?

I’ll attach some pictures of the glitches for reference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When I click, the orange light flashes. There's a sound of the camera taking a picture, but the flash doesn't work and the film doesn't come out. I replaced the batteries (alkaline), and it still doesn't work.

I bought this camera second hand, and it was working perfectly. I ordered a replacement battery (Duracell, specific for this camera) and it worked great.

After a short while, it stopped turning on when not connected to power via charging cable. The battery is new and was working previously, so that is not the issue. The battery is fully charged, and it is turned the correct way round (I know about the battery being turned the wrong way thing). What else can I do?

It still turns on and works when connected to power. When it turns on when connected, it will start with the demo video which I can’t remember if it was doing that before or not. I’d hate to get rid of a perfectly good camera, I just want to fix it but no idea what to try next.

So ehen i try to take a picture an orange flash starts flashing and my camera does nothing else. Also the thingy there it shows how many pics you can do just shows an “s”.
