Frigidaire Washing Machine: Spin Cycle - Clothes Get in a Tangled Ball & Water Doesn't Spin Out

I have the same issue. I babysit the washer and during the rinse cycle, after the water is pumped out, the center agitator will spin rapidly and forcefully, the outer tub barely moves and the cloths ball up forcing a badly out of balance condition. I can say it is not related to load size or the type of clothing in the washer. I stand at the ready and hit the power button as soon as I see the cloths ball up. I open the lid, distribute the cloths and then run a a drain/spin only cycle. This will eventually work after 1 to 6 attempts. I can say the lid is very strong as I have slammed it closed relatively hard in complete frustration many times. I sometimes try taking out cloths until just a few remain that can clear the center agitator edge. Spinning three t-shirts at a time as an example until all are done. The root cause is the center agitator not the cloths in the washer. It happen with two items of clothing, four, six, eight, ten, fifteen, twenty., etc. It ran fine for three years and then turned into a piece of crap. I am ready to throw it out. It is not the springs/shocks or unlevel washer. The washer cannot spin a basketball clump of cloths, a basketball clump that it creates!
