Frigidaire Refrigerator FRSS2623A: Dispenser light doesn't come on automatically

Brand new fridge. Manual suggests the light above the ice/water dispenser should come on when used. It doesn't. The light works when manually turned on, but then stays on indefinitely. Ice, water, and all other functions of the unit seem to work fine. Can't find anything about this issue in official documentation or online, would appreciate any ideas!

Frigidaire Refrigerator FRSS2623A: Frigidaire Freezer Not Dropping Ice

Hi all,

I have a side by side Frigidaire freezer/fridge, model number FRSS2623AS6.

Water will enter the cube tray fine and freeze, but will not drop. When I cycle the control panel on and off (green button), the tray begins to rotate, but the feeler arm doesn’t go all the way down. If I manually push it down gently, it will go down and drop ice, then fill back with water.

I attempted defrosting for a little while, but that did not work. I haven’t taken it apart to see if maybe something is stuck or out of alignment with the feeler arm and motor inside. I’ve also attempted a reset, which also did not work.

I’ve attached a picture, and video at the best angles I could get with the bin still installed.

Any suggestions or thoughts?
