Frigidaire Dishwasher: Problems with a Frigidaire Dishwasher

Hello all.

I have a Frigidaire Model# FDB1500LFB0 and my problem is that…

after loading and selecting my cycle and hitting Start, my washer fills with water to the (I presume) proper amount of water in the bottom. The water is very hot. Then the system stops, and the only thing that will happen after opening it after this (anywhere from 3-15 minutes, I did this several times.) is that when the door is shut back and cancel pressed it will drain as normal. It was left to “run” once and the soap drawer opened, dumping the “pod” directly below it. The dishes had never had water on them and the “pod” was mushy from the ambient humidity, and in a spot directly under the drawer. If left on it will cycle through a fill/drain cycle but the spray-arms never move. I have cut the breaker to it on and off with no change.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Frigidaire Dishwasher: Frigidaire FFID2426TS5A Dishwasher won't force drain or start cycle

Hi All,

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher, model FFID2426TS5A that won't force drain or start a cycle. When i apply power, the lights above the buttons all start up green, then the start/cancel light flashes. I try to force a drain (there's a small amount of water in the bottom of the dishwasher) and all lights go out on the button pad, and the dishwasher acts unresponsive until the next time I power cycle. It seems like a control board issue, but given the price of a control board, I would like to be 100% certain before I invest. Is there any way to know for sure?

Thanks, Ivan

Frigidaire Dishwasher: Fill valve opens and fills the bottem with no cycle selected

I replaced my fill valve recently and the second I turned the power back on and closed the door on the dish washer the fill valve started putting water into the bottom of the dishwasher till the float stops it. My question is why’s it filling when I haven’t hit the start button yet or even selected a cycle just does it on its own. Then when you hit start it runs but water comes out of the bottom seal assuming cause it’s over full?

Frigidaire Dishwasher: Not draining even after pump change

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model LFID2426TF1A about 4 or 5 years old. A week or so ago it stopped draining. Having seen this movie before (different house different dishwasher) I assumed it was the drain pump. I just replaced the drain pump and it is still not draining.

There is no garbage disposal hooked up to it - no disposal at all.

I took the filters out of the basin prior to ordering the pump in case the issue was a clogged filter but after a good clean there was no change.

The drain hose is not clogged.

It makes sounds like it is draining but when it’s done and I open it up the entire basin (tub?) is full. This is true both before and after the pump replacement.

I’m about to order a pump and motor assembly but I don’t like to just throw parts at things when I’m not sure.

Anyone know what I should do? Is the pump assembly the right move? Is there something I’m overlooking?

Thanks
