I have bought a new freezer, tested it for around 15 hours then unplugged it for 2 years so far. I'm not planning to live where it is right now. When I unplugged it, I didn't open its door for some time.

Hi just had an issue with our American style fridge freezer. Noticed a pool of water coming in of night shift this morning opened door everything seemed OK. Went to bed and when I awoke alot of the contents were soggy and spoiled. It got to 12°c Since emptying it and leaving it on as the fridge part was still maintaining its cool temp it's got its self back up to the - 20°c I set it at. I don't really want to fill it again if it's an intermittent fault. The back was dusty so I've cleaned all that. We bought it in around 2015 and in 2019 had it replaced under warranty for the same thing. I can't remember what was wrong with it. With this model it does say 10 year guarantee on the compressor just need to find the paperwork before the Mrs orders a new one. Anyone any ideas?

Hey everyone,

Trying to figure out what to do to get my freezer working again. I came back from a weekend trip and everything was completely frozen over on the left side of the condenser. I followed advice here and defrosted the freezer - but upon starting it back up again the line still freezes but now the freezer won’t even get cold enough to freeze ice blocks. The condenser just runs and runs and runs constantly and gets very hot while the line freezes as in photos below.

Do I need to add more refrigerant? Do I need to get a new condenser and fan motor? I’ve seen some suggestions about cleaning out condenser lines but don’t know how to go about that from here… any help would be great!

Freezer: Problem with keeping freezer's temperature but fridge works fine (AEG)

3 year old integrated fridge Freezer (AEG) with no frost function has a freezer issue. It takes longer (i think) to reach set temperature (-18C). It stay fine for about few hours and then display red and starts beeping. It seems temperature goes up to -10C. I tried frostmatic mode - it works, freezes water within an hour or so. I've tried defrost it, switched it for the night. Also opened back panel in the freezer - there is no ice, evaporator looks clean - it was a bit wet (i assumed it was normal - it was switched off). The first time the temperature dropped i noticed that the back panel in the fridge would swallow when in frosting mode and becomes normal in defrosting. After defrosting - this issue is gone, no swollen panel seen again. Could you please help to identify the problem?

Freezer: Top shelf cold but not freezing.

I have an upright Frigidaire freezer. The top shelf and top few door shelves are cold but not freezing. I’m can hear gurgling sounds and a slight fan noise. It looks like everything is accesses from the bottom of the freezer as the underside is open and exposed.
