Ford Crown Victoria: Cold solder joints? Instrument cluster loses power but powers on cold

2008 Ford Crown Victoria instrument cluster works but once the inside temperature rises the cluster loses power. It will work again after the vehicle sits for a while in the cold weather. I believe it is "dry" or "cold" solder joints caused by the use of unleaded or low-lead solder used on the solder connections of the circuit board, probably the cable connector pins but might also be elsewhere on the board. Has anyone ever experienced this issue and resolved it? I'd appreciate hearing how it was resolvedby DYI. Thanks.
