how can i fix uneven sanding? is it the drum needing replacement? Or could it be something more difficult? the left side is doing all the work and the far right isn’t even touching the floor

Hi,

Is there anybody that could help me with this problem.
I’ve been using the cleaner for over 2 years now, and when i plug it on the cleaner does nothing.
So i screwed the cleaner open and immediately felt that the motor was overheated.
Would the best idea be, to replace the motor? or is there a different source for this problem?

The unit wont cut off with the switch. The only way to get it to cut off is to unplug it. We have taken the switch off and everything appears to be in good shape and none of the wires appear to be loose.

ok, the machine will run in a working situation for 2 minutes then motor keeps running but vibration stops. The arm that causes the vibrations can be rotated about a half turn and the machine works again for 2 minutes, then stops vibrating again. I'm not going in until I have a plan. I'm thinking the serpentine belt is shot or the pulley it wraps around has worn smooth. Is this common?
