I would like to know if any one knows of a flip repair facility? I contact flip and I also followed the same instructions in youtube it worked for about 5 min and after i powered it off I was not able to turn it on again.

Flip MinoHD: Is there a way to fix the glass lens cover on back?

I don't know how it happened, but the MinoHD glass cover on the back has cracked right in the middle of the camera's view. I thought, I could just take out the glass, however, this would leave the internals of the camera exposed. I cannot find a replacement glass and I'm not sure why Flip made the lens so fragile for something that can fit in your pocket. Anyone help?

Flip MinoHD: Red Light When Plugged In to Power

Hello there, My Flip MinoHD does not turn on when plugged in, the red light on the side of the lens flashes when plugged in, the red light is static when I press the record button, the flip does not get fully detected by windows. All help would be appreciated.

I broke the internal display of my Flip Mino. I am looking for a replacement part for it. The part I am looking for is on Step 8 at Flip MinoHD Teardown.

Word of advice, its ok to put your Flip in your [back] pocket as long as you don't sit down. The prssure will shatter your display and Flip support will not help in any manner.

Hello I have a couple of flip mino hds that i have taken apart and I have tested all the batteries and they are all dead. When I attach a working battery from different mino it works fine! Anyone know where I can find replacement parts?

I have tried batteries plus and called flip. batteries plus could not find a replacement and flip told me they do not sell replacement batteries for the mino as it is an internal battery.

Please if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Please answer this question tried to turn on my Flip Mino HD Video after not using it for a while. Nothing happens. Plugged it into my computer UBS port, the RED light illuninates. Let stay in UBS port for 2-3 hours. Still nothing. Only the RED light is on. Tried the reset button. Nothing. What should I do now?

Flip MinoHD: Replacement for Flip out USB

Hi there, my Flip Mino HD has a damaged ribbon cable for the USB on the camcorder, I can no longer charge it without the usb. If I can fix the ribbon cable how would I do that, If I need to buy the part where can I buy it from? All help would be appreciated.

Flip MinoHD: How do you download video from a Flip after power loss?

I have a Flip camera with the files "locked" in the camera after it was (rather brutally) powered off by accident. The camera still comes on and indicates the files are there, but will not download them. The last few seconds of video should be awesome as the camera 'Flipped' out of a race car at about 90 MPH!

Flip MinoHD: wires came loose as I was removing battery, how to repair?

I was following instructions to remove the battery from my Flip Mino Hd. I hadnt used in it years and tried all else to turn on an retrive video. Noticed two wires unsoldered from motherboard during the process, one red, one black. The other two remained in tact. Can I solder them back on and if so, how?

it charges, but nothings showing up on the screen. im using the 3rd gens. is it fixable or not?

When I switch on the Flip I see the screen with the FLip logo and it says hold record to setup - I do this but nothing happens other than the red light activates on the underside of the device, it then eventually powers down.

This happens if I plug into USB or from just switching it on, If I plug in Via USB then the white charging light flashes for a short while, but I never get to a record screen or any of the device settings, even if I press nothing the flip still follows the above cycle, intro screen, red light flashes then stays on then powers down.

When the unit powers down it will start up again so I don't think the battery is fully drained

I have reset via holing down the power button for 10 seconds and also through the hard reset in the bottom of the unit with a pin and the same thing happens over and over, I have also tried powering through a powerful USB charge socket to see if it woke the battery up.

If anyone has experienced this issue before and could help I would be grateful
