Flip Video Ultra: Will not turn on

I have not used my camera in a long while and it will not turn on. I have switched the batteries with 2 AA's and I have tried to plug it into my laptop. There are videos on it from when I was little and it is my moms birthday soon so I was hoping to fix it some how. If you have any info on how I can repair it, please respond ASAP!

Flip Ultra HD: How can I fix buttons on Flip Ultra without breaking the camcorder?

My flip video ulta 2nd generation camcorder was bumped on its side last week and a few of the buttons stopped working. mainly the up, down, left, and play buttons. I can still record and turn the device on and off. It also still works with my computer.

I attempted to open up my camcorder, thinking I could solve the problem on my own. I've seen the tutorials on how you disassemble a older version of a flip video and though it wouldn't be that different. I ran into some problems after unscrewing the two half's. The top part just won't separate as smoothly as I thought. like it's hooked or glued together on the inside. I stopped in fear of damaging my ultra more. I've looked all around the internet for a better step by step guide on how to repair flip ultra 2nd generation buttons but have found none. I've even tried going through the customer service like first but to no avail.

Flip MinoHD: Is there a way to fix the glass lens cover on back?

I don't know how it happened, but the MinoHD glass cover on the back has cracked right in the middle of the camera's view. I thought, I could just take out the glass, however, this would leave the internals of the camera exposed. I cannot find a replacement glass and I'm not sure why Flip made the lens so fragile for something that can fit in your pocket. Anyone help?

Flip MinoHD: Red Light When Plugged In to Power

Hello there, My Flip MinoHD does not turn on when plugged in, the red light on the side of the lens flashes when plugged in, the red light is static when I press the record button, the flip does not get fully detected by windows. All help would be appreciated.

Flip MinoHD: Where can I find replacement parts for Flip Mino?

I broke the internal display of my Flip Mino. I am looking for a replacement part for it. The part I am looking for is on Step 8 at Flip MinoHD Teardown.

Word of advice, its ok to put your Flip in your [back] pocket as long as you don't sit down. The prssure will shatter your display and Flip support will not help in any manner.

flip ultra HD: Why aren't the buttons working

The play, erase, and record buttons are not working on my flip camcorder. i mad a mount for the flip on my bike and right when I took it off the buttons stopped working. It is nit froxen though. It turns on and plugs into my computer fine,but those specific buttons will not work when i press them. Help!

Flip Video Ultra: When powered on, the setup screen appears but doesn't work.

I'm the original owner (2007) and haven't had any trouble until now. When the camera's powered on, the setup screen appears to let you input the settings (HOLD RED BUTTON FOR SETUP) but will not function. Nothing happens and then I can't power it off. I have to remove a battery and interrupt the power to exit. I used new Duracell batteries. I don't have the software uploaded on my current computer as it's Win 8.1 and I never put it on. I have an older desktop that runs WinXp and has the software loaded so maybe I could format the camera. Does this sound promising? Does anyone know what my issue is here?

Hello I have a couple of flip mino hds that i have taken apart and I have tested all the batteries and they are all dead. When I attach a working battery from different mino it works fine! Anyone know where I can find replacement parts?

I have tried batteries plus and called flip. batteries plus could not find a replacement and flip told me they do not sell replacement batteries for the mino as it is an internal battery.

Please if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Flip Camcorder: Change date and or reset unit

I have one of the earliest flip camcorders. It works great, however when inserting new batteries recently, the change date screen came up.

I inadvertently closed the screen before entering current info.

Holding power button in for 10 seconds does not work

No tripod mount, thus no reset hole

Holding the power button on while pushing the up arrow does not work

Removing batteries for any amount of time does not work.

Nothing on the internet for a F160B or just a flip 60 seems to work.

Date is stuck in 2006

This happened long ago, I fixed it, but for the life of me I cannot remember how I did it
