Flip Ultra HD: Change battery and check connections

I found my flip camcorder from 15 years ago. I plugged it in and it did turn on and showed a picture of a battery in the red. For a brief moment, I was able to get the device to start charging. However, when I came back later to look, it said charging paused check battery connection. I plugged it into my computer to see if I could remove my recordings from it. It can’t retain enough charge in order to bring up the data. Can you help me?

I was filming with my camcorder and everything looked normal at first, but after a few minutes the video started showing became distorted with rainbow colors and it hasn’t gone back to normal since. How can I fix this?

Flip Video Ultra: Will not turn on

I have not used my camera in a long while and it will not turn on. I have switched the batteries with 2 AA's and I have tried to plug it into my laptop. There are videos on it from when I was little and it is my moms birthday soon so I was hoping to fix it some how. If you have any info on how I can repair it, please respond ASAP!

Flip MinoHD: Red Light When Plugged In to Power

Hello there, My Flip MinoHD does not turn on when plugged in, the red light on the side of the lens flashes when plugged in, the red light is static when I press the record button, the flip does not get fully detected by windows. All help would be appreciated.

Flip Camcorder: Change date and or reset unit

I have one of the earliest flip camcorders. It works great, however when inserting new batteries recently, the change date screen came up.

I inadvertently closed the screen before entering current info.

Mfg. Pure Digital Technologies

Model: F160B

Holding power button in for 10 seconds does not work

No tripod mount, thus no reset hole

Holding the power button on while pushing the up arrow does not work

Removing batteries for any amount of time does not work.

Nothing on the internet for a F160B or just a flip 60 seems to work.

Date is stuck in 2006

This happened long ago, I fixed it, but for the life of me I cannot remember how I did it

Flip Video: Camera does not work, and crashes after a few seconds after startup

I found this Flip Video Mino (1st gen not HD) in an attic and, it worked, to an extent. Because when It was done charging, I noticed so many problems. The camera feed was just a black screen with a few glitches here and there, and after a few seconds, it crashes! It’s literally the equivalent of a usb drive with a screen and buttons. I don’t know how to take it apart because every website I look on just talks about the HD model, and I don’t even know what’s wrong. Is it done for?

My Cisco flip ultra HD model u260 it powers up turns on screen comes on it says English and then when you go to press any of the buttons, the side to side up to down the record to play none of that works. Hello I have a couple of flip mino hds that i have taken apart and I have tested all the batteries and they are all dead. When I attach a working battery from different mino it works fine! Anyone know where I can find replacement parts?

I have tried batteries plus and called flip. batteries plus could not find a replacement and flip told me they do not sell replacement batteries for the mino as it is an internal battery.

Please if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Flip Video: Cracked lens on Cisco FlipVideo - can I fix?

I have a FlipVideo that I found in a box saved by my daughter, who passed last year suddendly. I can get the videos off of the device through a laptop and USB but the lens on the

device is cracked. I'd like to keep using this for old-time sakes. It is a low resolution of course, but it means a lot to me. Any advice? See photos

Flip Ultra HD: How can I fix buttons on Flip Ultra without breaking the camcorder?

My flip video ulta 2nd generation camcorder was bumped on its side last week and a few of the buttons stopped working. mainly the up, down, left, and play buttons. I can still record and turn the device on and off. It also still works with my computer.

I attempted to open up my camcorder, thinking I could solve the problem on my own. I've seen the tutorials on how you disassemble a older version of a flip video and though it wouldn't be that different. I ran into some problems after unscrewing the two half's. The top part just won't separate as smoothly as I thought. like it's hooked or glued together on the inside. I stopped in fear of damaging my ultra more. I've looked all around the internet for a better step by step guide on how to repair flip ultra 2nd generation buttons but have found none. I've even tried going through the customer service like first but to no avail.
