Fitbit Versa 2: Screen turns green/blue and unresponsive.

Versa 2 about 2 years old. Couple days before the screen would be unresponsive in certain areas— couldn’t turn off alarms in the bottom right corner but could swipe across the screen. After about 2 days of not fully functioning, the screen turned green/blue with the face fairly visible behind the blue. I could fairly see the clock in the background but the screen is mostly blue/green for a few moments before shutting off. This has happened 3 times. The first two times this happened I put the screen in rice for a few days and it resolved. I’ve since not worn the watch while in water but I do use it to work out. I’ve tried letting the battery completely drain, charging fully, ricing for a week— no improvement. Buttons are responsive, screen will turn on when charged but the screen is not interactive and still has a blue overlay. Is this a common error?

Fitbit Versa 2: How Do I Reattach The Screen

The touch screen of my Versa 2 popped off because I believe the adhesive gasket that holds the screen to the frame failed. This is the second one, my first one was replaced under warranty and now they want me to pay for a replacement.

Does anyone know of a good place to get a replacement gasket, or if I could use something like automotive grade RTV to stick it back in place? The material looks and feels similar to RTV, but I don’t want to do it wrong and wreck something. I could test it with my original Versa 2 (that was replaced) since FitBit let me keep it.

Hi All,

I have basically this same issue. I've taken my fitbit apart, cleaned a lot of corrosion off of it. But still not working. For a brief moment it came back on but nothing else. I think in the image below the circled part went bad. Is this part an Inductor? I think it is but unsure. Wonder where I could get a replacement for this?
