Can the Fitbit be reset without the OEM charger? I lost the charger and got an after market one, but it doesn't have a reset pin. Is it just a case of shorting the pins? Or is it a matter of applying 5V+ to one of the other pins?

I have had my flex for about 19 months. I have maybe used it a total of 6 months off and on. Now, the tracker will not hold a charge at all. I called the company. They said that they do not currently repair devices and that they could not replace it because it is out of warranty (fair enough). They offered me 25% off of another device. However, before I fork over another $75-$150 I was hoping that there might be a way to salvage the one I already have. Any ideas??

Fitbit Flex: It is not recording the right amount of steps

I am walking on a track with other friends with Fitbits and mine is recording less then a third of their steps which makes it very frustrating. Battery is working and when even counting my steps it doesn't record them all.

I lost original fitbit. When I synced new one I got all these acculated steps. I now had to add and subtract to get proper number of steps. For example I got up this morning and instead of no steps there wre 10,110! I want to wake each morning to a count of ZERO.

How can I reset to get zero steps?

Walked 4 miles on treadmill and spent another 45 min on varios gym equipment and fitbit inle showed about 2 miles and 22 min of ex. Why is that?

Fitbit Flex: Fitbit Flex 2 not charging

When I plug it in to charge, the lights flash as normal and it appears that it’s charging up as it should.

When I unplug it to use it, only 1 light appears, which indicates the battery is very low, even though it’s been on charge 3 hours or more
