Fitbit Charge 4: If the battery is knackered how to repair?

Currently a Fitbit Charge 4 for a person I know, currently has a potential battery knackered issue. As for certain functions (especially re-setup) if needing to clear paring due to Bluetooth pairing crypto key corruption.

Its battery must not go below 70% in order to re-setup, also experiencing intermittent connection issues. I’m wondering if its battery is knackered and/or needs changing, so thus if it’s changeable and how to do it for this device.

Can anyone help me with this please?

Fitbit Charge 4: plastic connector broken that connects band

The plastic connector on the watch is broken. One side of band wont connect to watch

Fitbit charge 4: Tiny broken screws, Fitbit Charge 4 band holder

Hi all,

The band holder broke off my Fitbit Charge 4, along with more than 50% of each screw. Any advice on getting the rest of the screws out? The sleeves around the screws have little nibs on them that prevent them from spinning freely (I tried to squeeze them with pliers but wound up with little nubs I can no longer grab onto). Please see the intact side and the broken side in the attached pictures.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have fully working charge 3 and charge 4 with broken screen. As both of them are pretty similar, I was wondering if the screen swap is possible. Can I replace the screen of charge 4 with the screen of the Charge 3?

Hi, trying to temp charge my Fitbit over the Christmas week, I have 400 ways to do this safely, but I don’t have the pin out from the charger socket thing, as it is on my couch! I even brought the 3D printer… Please help!

One will be 5V USB power, the other will be 0V. I’m 90% there’s just two pins, the further apart ones, that go on to the 3 connectors on the back of the Charge 4.
