Kindle Fire HD 8: Why won't my Fire HD 8 tablet turn on?

My tablet was working fine until one day it started to freeze and be unresponsive. I've held the power button for awhile and it would make a noise and show the Amazon logo and turn off again. It would do it over and over again. Sometimes, it would say it needed to be charged. So I would put it on the charger and it would do that same loop all day when the charger was on the entire day. I don't know if it's time to repair the tablet or there are other methods to fix it.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (6th Gen): My tablet is not turning on but makes the start up noise

So, Picture this: Your playing on your tablet, then it dies. You put it on charge then turn it on, It shows the picture of the battery. Later, It just sits there offline. I turn it on and tats where it hits me. Its making the start up noise, But isn’t turning on. I will be grateful for all helpful answers. EDIT: When it sits for too long, it just makes 1/50 of the start up noise so it sounds like a chirp. EDIT 2: The tablet turned on, just needed patience. I am leaving the post up in case this happens again or someone needs a answer.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (8th Gen): Screen works but touch is disabled

Hi, my Fire 8 8th gen works well in every way, except that the screen does not respond to touch of any kind, in any part of the screen. once fully booted up, the volume and power buttons are fine but reset / re-booting has made no difference - the screen ignores all touches, single, multiple etc.

I suspect a repair is possible - possibly just a connector has worked loose - but in any case, can anyone say if I could use a recent model teardown to investigate, or if this gen is fundamentally different from the earlier models in the way the build is constructed? Or, is this a more ominous sign and screen replacement is necessary? Thanks for any suggestions ..

Amazon Fire HD 8: My kindle fire hd 8 images suddenly stopped showing, why?

A problem with a very sudden onset! Although it's 2020 now, I have the fire hd 8. The show image option seems non existant..i can't locate it ANYWHERE! I did the factory reset and apparently, eventhough my kindle has a regular backup schedule and shows a recent backup...nothing was actually backed up. So...I lost a lot of content AND it did not bring back my ability to load images. The odd thing is,this is a problem usually occurring on shopping sites like hsn, qvc , wayfarer etc the scrolling ads show up but merchandise images do not. I get a white square and place holder right after the images flash on the screen. I attempted to use a different browser, got firefox, it works but so slowly you'd think I'm on a landline dial up! I have the highest upload speeds available in my area and we use xbox with no speed issues, watch movies with no issues but loading images on the kindle?...nope! Can anyone help please?? As mentioned, I've tried the settings but do not have the option for showing images, I've tried a different browser which takes forever to load the images, silk still won't show them besides a quick flash before going to place holder, and I've shut down the apps that run in the background.. Help! Thanks!

Kindle Fire HD 8: Amazon Fire 8 HD (8th gen) tablet won't charge or completely power on

When trying to power on and also anytime it's connected to a charger it keeps repeating probably about the first 4 seconds of the start up process of sounding off the power on chim while lights up with the Amazon icon which stays lit for about a second then suddenly completely shuts down. I tried powering up while connected to charger and same thing happens, it also continues this routine>>sounding chim-lighting up-suddenly shutting off, the entire time it is connected. After unplugging it flashes empty red battery icon 2-3 times.

**Just an thought but I think that possibly the USB charger end got wet and then was plugged into tablet-- may not have happened or be what's causing problem.

Amazon Fire HD 8: Amazon Fire Tablet Backlight isn't working

Amazon Fire Tablet HD 8”: Screen, touch, sound and power works as I could see what was on the screen at a certain angle with my own light source and slide the brightness slider which quite interestingly did absolutely nothing.

I reset the tablet with the power+volume button but that didn’t help. Haven’t done a factory reset as I assume this is a hardware issue. Worked fine for 7 months until I posted this question.

I assume that the backlight is broken and perhaps the only solutions are to replace the screen or to get a new tablet.

Posting this question in case other people get this specific issue and if there might be a simple solution to this.

Amazon Fire HD 8: Can you please identify the problem:)

"DEVICE SHOWN IN THE PHOTO IS 5TH GEN , I HAVE THE 6TH GEN"

Hi everyone , I have a Fire HD 8 tablet (6th gen)

I was watching normal videos and everything is normal ,suddenly the tablet stopped responding to when I touch the screen ,the video I'm watching is still on but no respond to touches ,now that WAS the problem, so here is what happened , I tried to fix it by restarting the device with the power button ,there was no problem restarting it but after that nothing happened ,the screen still not responding ,so after a few times of restarting , there is no changes , so I searched the web for a solution then I found that one of the causes of this problem is something called "screen digitizer" if it gets so cold , the screen may not respond , I tried to fix that my way but nothing, I tried to reformat it from the boot screen by choosing factory reset , but also no changes , I opened the tablets to see if the "screen digitizer" is broken or something but it looked normal I tried to disconnect it then I reconnected it again to see if that could be useful , after that I tried to restart the tablet but it's freezing everytime at the Amazon logo , the problem gets bigger and it's not working at all :)

Can you help please:)
