I get power, and the controller moves the unit as expected, but I get no picture on my Garmin MultiFunction display. I tried connecting a BNC to HDMI connector to try to get a video on my laptop computer, but no luck. Any suggestions for how to assess or fix this?

Unfortunately, there seems to be some stuff on the drive (partition? hidden files?) that is required to support saving images.

Now, whenever I try to save an image, I get an “Indexing images” message, and it won’t save. Ended up getting the camera replaced under warranty, but I still have the old one.

If someone has a C2 camera, could they run “dd” or another full-disk imaging program on it to get an image that I could write back? I believe this would fix the problem.
