Epson XP-960: I cannot print to the rear paper feed

We have an Xp-900. We have successfully been printing on an oversized paper, using an old laptop running MSWord.

We have just purchased a new laptop running MS Word on Windows 11. When we try to print to the rear paper feed, it is not offered as a paper source. I have checked that we are using the latest drivers on the printer. Nothing in the paper size/source/ layout seems to recognise that this printer is capable of larger than A4 media.

I can force the printer to take the paper from the rear feed by removing the regular cassette. The paper is taken up and feeds through but nothing prints.

I have set paper size to the correct over size dimensions in page setup.
