Electrolux Vacuum: Changing the drive wheels, has someone done it?

Hi,

My Electrolux Pure i9 (1st gen.) has developed an error: It leaves the charging station and runs for a minute or two, then displays E15 and says "I'm stuck, please move me a little" on a smooth parquet floor. It looks like it is the drive wheel that is either malfunctioning or needs a cleaning.

Has anybody done a tear down of this model?

I would really like to know how hard I can push on the plastic bits, because I am a bit worried about taking off the front bumper, since it seems to stick to the front of the machine, even if I get the sides loose.

Electrolux Vacuum: How can I fix my vacuum that is blowing rather than suctioning?

Electrolux Precision Clean

Model: EL8805

I have followed troubleshooting instructions in the online owner’s manual. I have cleaned both the cannister filter and the HEPA filter. I cleaned the brushroll. I took the vacuum apart and cleaned all valves and tubes that I could reach. I think the entire machine has been cleaned, but the base is not suctioning. It feels like it is blowing cool air. The wand DOES suction. Thanks for any help. This is not my area of expertise, so a detailed response would be much appreciated. Thanks!

PS - I saw a similar previous post but was not able to use it to solve my issue.

Electrolux ZUA3840: clog in vacuum cleaner hose

My canister vacuum is old (Sharp EC6310g) but sturdy. Parts not available. There's a rock in the hose and I've tried blowing it with my wet/dry vac, using plumbing snake--nothing has dislodged it. Can hose be taken apart and put back together? How? Rock is in non-flexible hard plastic where there's an angle, near top. Would appreciate any help!

Electrolux Vacuum: Why does my Electrolux vacuum keep shutting off?

We have an Electrolux Renaissance cannister vacuum from the mid 1990's. When we turn it on, it powers up and has good suction and then after 1-2 minutes it shuts down. If I unplug it, re-plug it in, and turn it back on, it does the same thing again...over and over. The bag is new, and the motor seems to run well until it shuts off. Any thoughts or advice?

Electrolux Vacuum: Pure i9 error code 20: is it the batteries or the charging station?

My robot vacuum Electrolux Pure i9 has been working fine for 5 years, but a few days ago it reported an Error code 20, which should mean that it is the wrong charging station.

It is the exact same charging station as always, so I am wondering if it might be the batteries instead?

(I don't want to spend money on unnecessary purchases).

Electrolux Vacuum: Electrolux Ergorapido EER89IBM brush roller doesn't spin

Hi all,

I have an electrolux Ergorapido EER89IBM, and the brush roller doesn't spin. There was a period where it spins for about a minute before stopping, and it will spin again if I switch the vacuum off then on again. Now it won't spin at all. The vacuum itself works fine, but since the roller doesn't spin it doesn't collect dust properly.

I'm thinking of replacing the motor in the nozzle since it might be damaged, but I have no idea how to disassemble the nozzle head. Does anyone have any guide on how to replace the motor?
