Electrolux Dryer: Electrolux dryer power button delay

My EDC2086PDW was bought about 2018. Lately it has often been slow to react when we press the power (on/off) button. It usually powers on after pressing this button for about a second, but now it sometimes needs longer pressing. Occasionally more than 20 (yes, twenty!) seconds.

Anyone with a similar problem, and possible fix?

Electrolux Dryer: Why does my dryer continually blow thermal fuse?

My Frigidaire / Electrolux dryer model FFSE5115PA0 continually blows thermal fuses. The first issue was the element which I replaced 5 years ago, along with thermal limiter and thermal fuse as they came in a set. Repair lasted 2 years. Then thermal fuse went out. Replacement lasted 6 months. Went out again, a few days later, replaced again. Worked a month, replaced again. Next time replaced all venting (which was clear and not clogged at all), replaced all 3 parts again - element, limiter, fuse. Lasted 3 months. Is anyone else having this issue?
