Electric Fireplace: Heater Cable plug melted

Cable plug melted from electric heater. I already replaced outlet but outlet plastic melted too. Should I replace cable plug and circuit breaker with higher amps to 20amps instead of 15amps?

Hi my electric fires works for a little while then the heat stops and the ambience stays on. The heat level in the room or settings on the fire make no difference. Even when left on ambience all day the heat will not come back on.

Electric Fireplace: Portable oil filled heater turns on and then off

The red power on and off switch lights up for a split second when turning it on then goes off.

Fuse works fine. Is 13a in 13a plug.

Electric Fireplace: Electric Fireplace has heat but no ambience

I have an electric insert, with 3 switches. 1st switch does nothing, 2nd switch turns in the fan. 3rd switch turns on fire and heat.

Do the lights of the fire come on without heat?

I am thinking that the first switch may be the flame light without the heat.

Am I correct? If so how do I get just the light without the hear?

My electric fire place does not turn on no heat flame and the fan doesn’t work either it’s just stopped for a while I was unplugging and plugging back in and it worked now it’s not doing anything

Electric Fireplace: Why is the flame effect motor not working?

Everything on the fireplace seems to work except for the motor for the flame effect. Replacement motor doesn't work when installed.
