I replaced my old 604030 battery with a 2-wire battery that doesn't have an NTC. Could the circuit board be refusing to charge it because it lacks an NTC?

If so, what can I do to get the circuit board to charge the battery again? I no longer have the old battery.

Edifier W820NB Plus: Control Buttons not working

It would seem that the control buttons are not working as I am unable to turn on/off or even connect my headphones. Do you have a fix for this please?
