Dyson v6 Absolute: 0V missing at the brush head motor

The brush head has stopped working. I have cleaned all the removable parts properly and put it back together. However it still fails to spin. The vacuum motor is working fine!

So, next I took the main body to pieces to reveal the PCB. Using my multimeter I found there was 21V across the vacuum motor terminals. But when I went across the brush head supply terminals I get nothing. However if I go on the positive terminal of the brush head and the negative of the vacuum motor I get 21V.

i’m aware that there is some sort of overload to protect the brush head motor in the case of drawing high currents, and im assuming it’s in the negative line, but where is it? And can I reset or replace?

Dyson Cordless yellow (v6 animal or motorhead? ) upright stick vacuum and handheld)

At first when I put Bumblebee ( I named her after Transformers) on the charger the light came on and the vacuum went vrrm for a second before dying , than after that nothing just a click , now just silence and no light .. reminiscent of old car in the winter when the starter or alternator go out . I d like to know if there is a way to know which the problem is and if it's something I can myself fix and or replace.

Dyson v6 Absolute: Dyson v6 fluffy brush motor replacement

Hi! My dyson motorhead just broke. I disassembled the brush and found the motor was broken. Tried to fix it but i saw sparks and smoke coming from the inside so I have to replace it. I have disassembled the motor too and kept all the original cylinders, screws and plastic cover. So i only need to find a compatible electric motor and re-assembly everything. My question is, how do i know which motor is compatible? It shouldn’t be difficult to find one in aliexpress but i don’t know what to look for. Somebody could help me please? Thanks!

I’ve uploaded 2 pictures. 1st picture is my broken motor with the plastic part that I haven’t deattached yet. The other picture corresponds to another dyson v6 fluffy brush motor fullydisassembled

Dyson v6 Absolute: vacuum cleaner works on-off

Situation: 2 years old V6; canister is empty and clean ; the motor filter is clean. the MAX button is OFF. All is OK with the cleaner. BUT:

After a full charge, motor kicks out after 2 minutes of operation- put on charge again for one minute- motor starts again for an other minute- put on charge few more minutes- vacuum cleaner OK for ONE minute; and so forth. Could the life of battery has ended?

Note: on the body, the light is solid blue when in operation and flashing every time the cleaner stops.

Dyson v6 Absolute: 6.8 - 7.2 output Vs at connectors

Accessory brushes (motorized) are not working. Bought brand new (dyson) bin. The output is between 6.7 & 7.2 Vs at the canister input & output terminals. I've destroyed my accessories while testing. Before I order a new motorized brush attachment I'm wondering if this V is correct (when nothing is attached). Both the old & new canisters test exactly the same (6.7-7.2 voltage). Actually jumps ~.5V when blue light max power option is off, drops same ~.5V when maximum blue light power on.

Dyson v6 Absolute: Why after charging and after using Max function it stops?

Dyson V6 (SV05).

I charge the Dyson. If I start it using the max button it stops in less than a minute. Then I plug it and press the button for 20secs as advised in this group and with the MAX function it stops working fast but if I turn the MAX off it works for a while? Do I need to change the battery? They are quite expensive. Thanks for your help

There are no blue lights on the charging unit when I put my vacuum in to charge. I’ve checked the power cord and it seems ok.

I have a V11 absolute. It's been cleaned but the floor brush is not rotating.. checked all other floor attachments and they dont rotate too.

But power on the motor seems fine.

Dyson v6 Absolute: Switched out battery and still not working

This is for the V6 cordless slim. I got a new battery and it shows that it is charged, but it is not working. I took all the part off so it is just the charging dock and the motor/ board. It occasionally turns on for 2 seconds but 90% of the time it does nothing. Not sure what the problem is. I cleaned everything out that I could within the motherboard/ motor area.

Dyson v6 Absolute: Wand connectors appear to be faulty

By a process of elimination I think I have determined that the electrical connections connecting the main drive to the rotating brushes thru the wand is faulty.

The brushes turn intermittently

When I connect the main drive to the brushes (without the wand) it works ok

Are there any suggestions as to how to fix the want

after vacuuming the dust just fall of the bin into the hose and to the floor.

it seems the canister flap is stuck due to dry dust on its surface
