Dyson v8: Not working - 3 blue light on

Hi,

my Dyson v8 is not working. At first I thought it was a battery, but when I press the power button, the 3 blue lights come on (not just one - a weak battery indicator). But the cleaner doesn't work. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks.

Dyson V7 Motorhead: Dyson v7 Motorhead flashing red lights and not charging.

Hello, my Dyson v7 motorhead isn’t charging. After pressing the button to use it, the vacuum would flash a red light at the bottom for a short while before shutting off. The same happens upon plugging it in. Does anyone know what is going on, if so how do you fix it?

I need a replacement battery for a Dyson handheld stick vacuum identified as SV25. It may be an older model with the "star" type filter and a s/n starting with U1C. Your SV10 battery is supposedly not compatible. Thanks?

Dyson V15 Detect: Dyson V15 Detect stops after a few seconds with no indicators

I've had it for nearly 2 years. The problem occurs when I press the trigger—it runs for a few seconds and then stops (with its signature "wooump" sound). It repeats this 2-3 times before eventually working. However, now I can't get it to run for longer than a few seconds, even after several tries.

I’ve changed the filter and cleaned everything I can access. In some forums, I’ve read that it might be an issue with the "main body," (whatever that means) while others suggest it could just be a cracked trigger, which should be an easy fix.

Dyson Ball Animal: Loud grinding noise from ball

Halfway up, ball starts making a loud grinding noise that makes me afraid to run it. Let it cool down and it sounded even worse when starting back up. It’s not the whistling noise others describe and it isn’t just upon start and stop. Wondering if there’s something I can do before reaching out for professional repair.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim: V12 keeps shutting off in seconds, but…

V12 started shutting off after several seconds.

First, it only happened when the vacuum increased suction.

Then, it started happening within normal use. But if I started it in eco mode, it worked ok.

The thing is, once I turned it on again 3 or 4 times on a row, it started working as usual, without shutting off. Like if something is heating up so the vac starts operating as normal.

Now it shuts down even in eco mode. Still, 3–4 restarts help, and it runs until I manually turn it off.

Dyson v6 Absolute: 0V missing at the brush head motor

The brush head has stopped working. I have cleaned all the removable parts properly and put it back together. However it still fails to spin. The vacuum motor is working fine!

So, next I took the main body to pieces to reveal the PCB. Using my multimeter I found there was 21V across the vacuum motor terminals. But when I went across the brush head supply terminals I get nothing. However if I go on the positive terminal of the brush head and the negative of the vacuum motor I get 21V.

i’m aware that there is some sort of overload to protect the brush head motor in the case of drawing high currents, and im assuming it’s in the negative line, but where is it? And can I reset or replace?
