Dyson V8 Animal: Dyson V8 Animal won't turn on with the motorized brush heads attached.

My Dyson won’t power on at all when I have either motorized brush heads attached. Did all that troubleshooting stuff, cleaned things out, checked for blockages, etc.

Works just fine with the other non-powered attachments, but if I attach the motorized brush heads it won’t even power on. This is true if I have the attachments on the end of the stick tube, or directly on the hand set.

When I press the trigger, the battery light shows two steady blue lights (I’m assuming it had to do with the amount of charge left on the battery.), then the lights turn off one at a time, until they’re both off.

Anybody know what this means? And what, if anything, needs replacing?

Dyson V8 Animal: Aftermarket Rechargeable Batteries (Safety and Effectiveness)

I've read that replacing a cordless vacuum battery with an aftermarket alternative can be risky.

How does one determine if an aftermarket rechargeable battery will be safe and effective?

I'm wondering about aftermarket rechargeable batteries in general and rechargeable vacuum batteries in particular.

Thanks!

Dyson V8 Animal: Does anyone know how to safely remove red circle clips on Fluffy Head

One of the wires in my Dyson V8 Fluffy Motorized Head is broken. When it swivels right, power to the motor is cut. Swivels left — the motor comes back on. I figured it to be the white wire. It can be replaced — but only if I can figure out how to unclip the red, circular clips to disassemble the head and re-wire it. I know I can Frankenstein it if I just run the wire outside the head… but I’d rather have it clean and streamlined.

Dyson V8 Animal: Vacuum works but when any motorized head is put on, vacuum won’t run

When roller brush attachment is disconnected, vacuum works great. As soon as I put on the roller head attachment, vacuum shows 3 blue lights, then 1 and then no lights and vacuum never starts. I bought another roller head and same issue so it is not the attachment. I cleaned the contractors on the body but still no luck. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Dyson V8 Animal: Charging time and running time

I would like some help on this, I have my Dyson V8 for 1 year and a half now bought it locally and suppose still under warranty but when I took it from where I had bought it they told me that the battery needs to be replaced and battery it’s not covered by the warranty.

The problem that it has is that it’s charging for only one hour and a half maximum and running on max speed for only one minute even when the battery is suppose to be fully drained charging the same for only one hour and a half when suppose it takes over five hours to be fully charged.

Hope someone can help me regarding this issue.

thanks in advance
