Dyson V8 Absolute: The bin won’t open it appears to be severely jammed

When I try to pull on the tab to open the bin it won’t move it appears to be jammed and I can clean out the hover which is a major problem

Dyson V8 Absolute: Not working- blue lights flashing

Suddenly during cleaning my v8 has been stopped and blue light start flashing. When I put into the charger the 2 lights are shining and one is flashing. What's wrong? Thanks!

Hi,

my Dyson v8 is not working. At first I thought it was a battery, but when I press the power button, the 3 blue lights come on (not just one - a weak battery indicator). But the cleaner doesn't work. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Dyson V8 Animal: Dyson V8 Animal won't turn on with the motorized brush heads attached.

My Dyson won’t power on at all when I have either motorized brush heads attached. Did all that troubleshooting stuff, cleaned things out, checked for blockages, etc.

Works just fine with the other non-powered attachments, but if I attach the motorized brush heads it won’t even power on. This is true if I have the attachments on the end of the stick tube, or directly on the hand set.

When I press the trigger, the battery light shows two steady blue lights (I’m assuming it had to do with the amount of charge left on the battery.), then the lights turn off one at a time, until they’re both off.

Anybody know what this means? And what, if anything, needs replacing?

I was using my dyson and all of a sudden it went dead but after more than 20 min of cleaning. I thought it needs to be charged. Next day I took it from it’s hangimg charging wall unit and it didn’t work at all. Only the three blue lights would show but no sound at all…dead

How does one determine if an aftermarket rechargeable battery will be safe and effective?

I'm wondering about aftermarket rechargeable batteries in general and rechargeable vacuum batteries in particular.

Dyson V8 Animal: Dyson V15 doesn't hold charge overnight (tried two batteries)

So I charge the dyson and it works fine whilst im using it now if I put it down overnight (not in the cradle) it is dead come morning. If I disconnect the battery and put it back the next day its fine. So its like there is a short or something? Any ideas. I have got a free new extra battery to the same effect from Dyson

Dyson V8 Motorhead: motor head won't go back down after dust bin jammed

Brand new Dyson v8 Motörhead used it 1 time and when I tried the red tab to empty dust bin it didn’t work, but the head lifted up and now it won’t go back after I tried pushing it back down. Dyson is not getting back to me about this.

Dyson V8: No power to carpet brush attachment.

Hello I have no power to the brush attachment I tested with my meter and I get no voltage from the pins at the head or the vacuum motor handle. The vacuum comes on and provides great suction but no power to carpet brush. I even tried a new brush component.

Hi I have a Dyson V8 that the motors stopped spinning on all 3 of my attachment spinning tools. I completely disassembled and cleaned it. I checked voltage coming out of the vacuum and am getting 22 volts coming out of the vacuum to the tools. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. No suction issues. Super frustrated! Thanks
