Dyson V6 Motorhead: Why is my Dyson going on an off when I'm holding the on button?

Why is my Dyson going on an off when I'm holding the on button?

First let me say, the battery charges just fine and I’ve totally cleaned out the collection bin. I push the button to turn on the vacuum and it works, but then turns off and on over and over again while I’m still holding the button down.

I looked this up online and someone said the filter needed to be cleaned. So I took out the filter rinsed it as the online instructions said, let it dry, then put it back in. This did not solve the problem.

Any other suggestions?

Dyson V6 Motorhead: Why is the brush roller sticking for v6 vacuum

teeth on lower roll insert that can interfere with teeth on the housing. My brush roll will not turn when re-installed. It installs easily, powers up, spins about 4-5 revolutions, then shuts off power for a second, then comes back on without roller spinning at all. I can see it is the teeth interlocking but don't know how long it makes the first 4 or 5 revs.

Dyson V6 Motorhead: Disassembled, now screws for cyclone cowl won’t go back in

It seems the screws are supposed to go through the cowl and the cyclone seal into the top body. They’re not going in because it seems they were never long enough to begin with. The pictures attached are with the screws threaded in the hole the minimum amount. With the cowl attached the screws aren’t long enough to thread in at all. I’ve tried pressing down on the cowl as I screw in, and videos don’t seem to have this problem

Dyson V6 Motorhead: Motor works when canister lid is open, but stops when closed

My Dyson started pulsing on and off while vacuuming. I cleaned the filter and removed all dust/debris from the bin/canister. The odd thing is, the motor works fine when I have the canister attached, and the canister lid is at least partially open. As soon as I snap closed the canister lid, motor starts pulsing on and off rapidly, and vacuum will not work. I don’t see any clogs anywhere, and since it works fine with canister open, I know the motor and battery are OK. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Dyson V6 Motorhead: Shutting off after 2-3 seconds

My Dyson recently started shutting off after 2-3 seconds of use. It’s not pulsating, just turning off, and the MAX ring light flashes slowly.

If I use the vac on MAX mode, it seems to work fine.

If I return to normal mode, it shuts off after 2-3 seconds again.

I’ve fully cleaned the inside of the vac, including inside the filter housing and removed the mesh casing.

Interestingly, the vac works in normal mode if I restrict airflow to at the front end.

I’ve checked that all the gaskets are well sealed, but I feel like the vac is passing more air than it typically should (almost like it’s missing a filters somewhere). The only thing I have not taken off is the back filter where the battery is.

Anyone have any idea? I’ve almost given up on a solution.
