Dyson DC58: I can't open my Dyson to empty the rubbish

I can't release the red lever that opens the bottom area to empty the trash.

Dyson DC23: Why isn't my beater bar spinning?

The beater bar isn't spinning, the belt seems fine, the suction is good. The filters have been cleaned. I've had the vacuum for about 5 years and never had an issue until now. It also doesn't want to stand upright--but this could be an unrelated issue.

Dyson DC45: Why does my Dyson stop working every 3-5 seconds

We have a Dyson DC45. It shuts off (stops working) every 3-5 seconds. Can this be fixed, by myself or at a repair centre?

The Dyson DC 45 ( I have shown DC56 here as it appears similar to the DC45) stops every 3-5 seconds when in use. The following is a more detailed series of the events which occur.

The Dyson is fully charged, when starting use with the brush head attachment, stops working after about 10 seconds of use.

We turn it on using the trigger starter. It stops again after about 3 seconds. We release the trigger and press it again. It starts and runs for approximately 3 seconds, then stops again. The sequence of restarting is repetitive until we give up in frustration.

Is there a "home fixable solution" or must it be taken to a repair shop? If so, where in the Toronto area can it be taken.

The battery is fully charged.

We press the trigger button and the the hoover works for a few seconds and then stops. It does this consistently

Dyson DC14: No suction. Air comes out of small vent.

All of a sudden my dyson dc14 stopped working. When you turn it on, it starts fine, but after about 2 seconds you hear a loud hiss (air) and all of the air is directed out of the tiny vent above the filter. Everything is clean and seems to be connected properly. Could something not be air tight? I'm out of ideas.

Dyson DC58: Dyson DC 35 handheld intermittently shutting off

With trigger pulled, it shuts off and then have to pull the trigger again and it works. After about 5 minutes or so of using it with it shutting off intermittently, when it shuts off, I have to wait a couple of minutes before it will work again.

Dyson DC56: motor starts and stops when trigger is pressed

The motor on my DC56 starts and stops when the trigger is pressed. It used to run continuously if you didn’t use the boost button but now it does it all the time. There is no burning smells and the motor sounds OK.

Dyson DC24: Sucked Up Thick Soft Cat Poop

Help! I vacuumed right over the top of some thick and soft cat crap with a brand new DC24! The vacuum sucked in the extremely smelly poop into the brushroll and the big ball smeared about a foot long streak on top of the carpet. I need to know the best way to clean this vacuum!

Dyson DC28 Animal: no rotation on brush area at head

when I turn the unit on, it does the vacuum , as I can hear the units sounding, but when you put the floor portion to use, the brushes do not turn at all like they once did. is this a repairable item? I know there is no belt connected, so something else is wrong.

Dyson DC41 Animal: Suction too strong on DC41

The suction is so strong that on thicker carpet it is almost impossible to push the vac through the carpet. Just started doing this recently, washed the filters and still have the problem.
