Dyson DC62: The roller on my Dyson DC 62 works for a few seconds, then stops

So, my Dyson DC62 seems ok, all cleaned, new battery, new filter.

When I start vacumming, it works for a few seconds, then it will stop for half a second and start again, but without the head brush rolling.

I have tried with 2 different heads, it´s the same.

Seems like it has to do with “resistance”: When I start “on the air” it works longer before it will stop, but if I put it down on the floor, only lasts 4-5 seconds…though, eventually, it will alwas stop and start without the brush rotating.

Spoke to dyson´s “chat”, all the say is that I should take to the repair shop, and they´ll fix it for 125 euros…

Any idea?

Dyson DC62: Why is my new battery overheating. Replaced the previous battery

Replaced previous battery not holding the charge long enough. All filters cleaned or replaced motor unit blew out. Reassembled. Using it this morning and battery got very hot and run out of charge.

The red light is blinking off and on as if it has not been charged but it has full charge.

There is no power going to the motor
