My hose will not come out for cleaning high places. It is like it is stuck and I can not pull it out like I use to pull out to clean around the windows and such. What can I do this jam is driving me crazy. Thank you for any help or assistance.

Help! I vacuumed right over the top of some thick and soft cat crap with a brand new DC24! The vacuum sucked in the extremely smelly poop into the brushroll and the big ball smeared about a foot long streak on top of the carpet. I need to know the best way to clean this vacuum!

With the canister off I can feel suction but when it is attached there is not any suction to pickup any debris even light dog hair off of a tile floor.

Screw came out that holds the latch which secures the vertical position. Screw access appears to require removing the ball. How is the ball removed and reinstalled?

Dyson DC24: Beater Bar won’t go down to the floor anymore. About 3 inches up.

My beater bar assembly seems stuck about 3 inches off floor. I tried pressing it down but no luck. It does unlock as normal when you go onto the carpet and the beater bar turns it’s just doesn’t go right down anymore.

The change over valve arm is disconnected from the valve wheel. The arm won’t easily push back into the valve wheel slot. Will forcing it back into the slot damage anything?

The upright rod will extend but will not release to lean back and give access to the hose.

Called Dyson support but after waiting for the representative to give me some information, the only answer was to take the machine to a repair shop.

Cannot squeeze the red circular lever to release the rod. Cannot see where I can remove screws or any other hardware to open and look for the problem.

Dyson DC24: Ribbed Rubber Hose very Tight

The hose does come out but it is so tight, i.e., does not stretch, that whenever I have to reach with the wand and hose, the whole machine falls over onto its side. Why is there no slack in the ribbed hose and how can I loosen it up? Many thanks in advance.
