Dryer: Kenmore Elite gas dryer not heating

I have a Kenmore Elite gas dryer. I can give the model number upon request, but it flags the message as spam if I insert it in this question.

The dryer turns on, the drum spins, the blower for the dust vent works, but the heat does not work. I have replaced the thermal fuse and the igniter, but the igniter still does not ignite. Any ideas for what to check / replace next?

Samsung dryer: Dryer vibrating noise after felt gasket replacement

I have a front load Samsung dryer, model DV45K6500EV . the felt gasket came loose so I had to disassemble the dryer in order to replace it (part #DC97-07618A ordered off EBay) I read the manual and watched several tutorials to make sure I did everything correctly. During this process I noticed the belt had been grinding into dust so I bought a new one (GANCO 6602-001655 from Amazon) and also replaced that. Once everything was put back together, the dryer turned on but there’s a new, constant vibrating noise that I can’t specifically locate. I took everything apart again, double checked the belt and pulley (I noticed the screw holding the pullet piece in place was loose so I tightened it). I checked all four rollers, and the placement of the drum on top of them. I also double checked the felt lining at the front and back to make sure the drum was seated correctly. As I reassembled again, I checked that everything was screwed in nice and tight and no parts felt wobbly or loose. once again I turned the dryer on and the vibrating noise is just as bad. The dryer does work properly (I dried a towel for a few mins) but the noise is consistent and I can’t tell where it’s coming from. I’m considering replacing the pulley assembly since I did adjust that, and replacing the back felt gasket in case having only the one new one is causing an imbalance. I can see the felt in front and back and I don’t see anywhere that looks like there’s metal on metal contact. I am so tired of taking this thing apart and I’ve followed the advice of several YouTube videos guaranteeing to fix noise problems. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer: Check lint filter light is blinking and dryer won't run.

No matter which setting I choose , the check lint filter light starts flashing and the dryer won't start. I have reset the breaker, unplugged the dryer, cleaned out the filter and the vent in the back. An answer on another of this question said to check the heat sensor which I will do. Is there anything else to check for?

I have performed a lot of the basic troubleshooting steps and I am still stumped.

Here is what I have done, so far:

I have vacuumed out the interior of the dryer, as well as the blower, blower housing, exterior vent exiting the dryer, the flexible duct, the rigid duct leaving the house. All collected from this lint was no more than golf ball-sized.
I have continuity on the thermal fuse.
I have continuity on the thermostat on the heating element housing.
I have continuity on the heating element itself.
I have replaced the thermistor as a precaution.
I have replaced the control board as a precaution.
I have tested the incoming power at the outlet, I have 120v from center to both legs and have 240 between both legs.
I have set a timed-dry cycle and dryer operated and completed the cycle successfully, with no error messages. And no heat.

I am open to any and all valid ideas to get this dryer to work correctly.

My dryer keeps saying the water reservoir is full, even though it is empty. If I restart the cycle it will work for a couple of minutes and stop again. What is the sensor that is sending this message? And where is it located? TIA

Maytag dryer: Thermal fuse keeps going out on Maytag electric dryer

The thermal fuse on my Inglis Maytag dryer keeps blowing. With the fuse out, the element still gets heated, but the dryer doesn’t spin. I replaced the fuse and the dryer worked for a good 30 mins and then it stopped. Again, i replaced the fuse thinking there was something wrong with the fuse, and it worked for a good 20 mins and stopped.

Can someone tell me what the problem could be?

HI Mayer, that’s exactly the type of fuse I used. Based on the information provided, do you think the issue is with the heating element (it turns on very hot soon as i plug in, even with the fuse out), the thermostat, or something else ?

Kenmore Dryer: Kenmore 600 dryer won't start. Door switch?

I have an old Kenmore 600 series dryer, model#110.78632700. It is at least 10 years old, and could be a lot older.

It suddenly won't turn on. My first thought it might be the door switch, but the door switch is faulty but kind of works. Let me explain. If I open the dryer door and press w the metal tab on the upper right of the door, the interior light will come on, but it comes on unreliably. I have to fiddle with that metal tab, and after several attempts, the interior light will come on. My point is that the interior light does NOT come on reliably, but the interior light will come on.

So since the interior light does kind on unreliably, does this mean that the door switch is working? Or does this mean that the door switch has failed and needs replacement? Or is it something else?

I only ask this question because I don't want to order a new door switch and replace the door switch if there is no chance this will fix the problem - the problem that the dryer won't turn on anymore.

Oh, one last thing. Something specific happened when the dryer stopped starting. My wife was drying some sheets and stopped the dryer, so she could check the sheets. She did this mid-cycle. When she shot the front door and tried to start the dryer again, it would not start, and it has never started since then.

It blows once a month or about every 8-10 loads of laundry. If it's not an airflow issue what could it be?
