My window won’t open. The gears have shifted. I can turn the handle a bit but because the gears have moved it doesnt do anything. I've tried wd40 and to move it with some tools but nothing works. I dont have a ton of tools. Is there a simple way to fix it or to remove/loosen the carriage bolt?

My window lock is broken shut. I've tried the putty knife trick but can't seem to find the mechanism that I need to push down as the window won't even open an eighth of an inch. I need a solution that won't require replacing the entire window. Image shows lock and the maximum amount I can open it.

Door Handle: Schlage FE595 latchbolt stuck

This Keypad Lever with Flex Lock has served well for several years. But the latch bolt, for no obvious reason, no longer retracts on the strike plate when we close the door unless we move the lever. It doesn’t matter if the Flex Lock is locked or unlocked. The outside operation - lock, unlock states - is normal. The door closer can no longer close the door without operating the lever, which renders the ADA door closer function useless. The door, hinges, lock, and door closer work perfectly and the batteries are fresh. Just the latch bolt stops the door from latching by itself when the door closes.

Product page = schlage.com/en/home/products/FE595PLYFFFFLA

Any help would be appreciated!

Door Closer: How to decrease the opening force in GEZE TS 5000 beyond min setting

I have a new GEZE TS 5000 and I have backed the “force” adjustment all the way (it shows 2 on scale from 2-6). However, the force is still too strong for application - inside doors in a pediatric office. So the question is if there is a way to disassemble the unit and adjust the spring, perhaps shorten it? Thanks.
