My Dolce Gusto Piccolo machine doesn't inject water, and even if we want to put a plastic capsule for example, it doesn't close.

I have the above Dolce Gusto machine, and it is saying the injector is blocked.
I have had it a couple of years, and never had the pod bin which apparently holds a tool that can unblock the injector.
Has anyone else had the same issue and has been able to resolve the issue without the specific tool?

It heats up water comes out everything works as normal but it still just shuts down. We've cleaned it checked the needle everything seems ok but it still stops every time. Any ideas?
