Dolce Gusto Genio: Unit does not discharge water, even without a pod in place.

Tried cleaning the jet - no improvement.

Sounds like the pump is working. Maybe an air-lock in the water system?? Unit has been idle for at least one month.

Can someone provide detailed steps for identifying and correcting a possible air-lock? This would be helpful in narrowing down causes for no water discharge.

Dolce Gusto Melody: Is it possibleto "transform" a coffe maker voltage?

I bought a Dolce Gusto lumio coffe maker in Japan (100v) and I'm trying to use it in USA. It works at 1460watts. I've been trying to figure out what transformer should I get and I've gotten different answers: 1500watts, 2000w, 3000w and 5000w. I have no idea which one is the correct one and I was wondering if if it's possible to transform the voltage to the machine instead. I mean alter the circuit or something like that to make it work for 120volt.

Is it possible? If so, what option is your recommendation: get a transformer or alter the machine? If it's get a transformer, which one is the right one: 1500, 2000, 3000 or 5000watts?
