The base is very difficult to move. Feels like it has grit or metal on metal grinding. Not sure how to separate the parts to lubricate or replace.

I have a DeWalt DW705 Type 4 miter saw and the break for the blade does not work. I have already replaced the two (2) brushes (part # 145323-06) and that hasn't helped. Any other suggestions on what the problem could be?
