Dell XPS M1210: When I connect the laptop to the power it does not power on or charge

when i connect the laptop to the power ,does not power on or charge, the laptop work fine when the battery was have charge, but later stop work the power adapter, and i check the adapter and is does have power, what can be the problem?

I have a warning in device manager on the NVIDIA on display area is there any updated drivers? I have tried to find a compatible driver other then the GeForce Go 7400.Could this be related to the lines on start up?

Dell XPS M1210: My keyboard does not light up, there is no option on the left cursor.
