Dell XPS 15 9570: Laptop not turning back on unless plugged in

I recently replaced the battery in my 9570, using the kit and battery from IFIXIT, along with a new RAM kit from Crucial. Since the replacement, when the laptop goes into hibernation mode, after being left alone, it won’t turn back on unless plugged in. The LED battery indicator light won’t even turn on when this happens. Sometimes the Dell screen will flash, then turn back off.

Once its back on, it can be unplugged and it behaves normally.

Dell XPS 15 9570: New 97w Battery Replacement - Not charging past 47%

Purchased a new battery to replace my current Dell branded 97w battery. The replacement was easy, however the battery is not charging past 47% (first time) and left on over night 18 hours. I did reseat again with not luck. Also, upon removal I performed that CMOS "flea" power clear holding down the power after battery removed for about a minute. Also, thinking this battery might actually be just a little thicker than original a I'm not getting a true click motion on my touchpad. Will most likely return and get a Dell original but thought I would ask here first. Really like what this company is doing and would prefer doing business here.

Dell XPS 15 9570: Sd Card reader reads uhs-ii sd card but not regular sd card.

Any idea why my sd card reader would work with a uhs-ii sd card but not a normal one?? The normal one works too because it works on a usb to sd card adapter i have. So i have no idea why this would be the case. Plus I dont think I can replace it. I have the xps 15 7590 and i believe that one is soldered onto the motherboard.

Dell XPS 15 9570: Frequent BSoD after replacing battery

Hey there. Earlier this week I replaced the battery on my Dell XPS 15 9570 with the 6GTPY 97 battery from iFixit. Since then, I have been getting the "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" blue screen error once or twice a day. Can I just assume the battery I bought was faulty and get a replacement, or is this a BIOS thing I need to configure?

Dell XPS 15 9570: Loud pop then black screen. Afraid of turing on again.

Hello, brilliant minds.

Yesterday morning I installed a new original Dell battery in my XPS 9570.

In the evening I was watching some video and then heard a somewhat loud POP, and then my screen turned black/the computer shut off immediately.

I pulled out the DC jack, opened the laptop, and disconnected the new battery.

I measure 3 ohms and 7.9 ohms when probing the highlighted and nearby components, which I believe are capacitors. Would that be a short? I cannot find any other places where I measure such low resistance over a cap.

How should I proceed? Can I damage the laptop any further by connecting power? Can my new battery have caused this, if so how? Would I be best off just taking the laptop to professionals?

Edit:

I found a schematic, but I do not know what the powerline is for.

Dell XPS 15 9570: Battery replacement - Won't even charge now

So I bought a replacement battery (cause the bios told me the battery needed to be replaced). Took out the old battery and put in the new battery. I let the laptop charge for 5 hours. Tried to turn it on - nothing but a quick flash of the keyboard and then back to nothing. I googled some, tried taking out ram, pressing "D” and the power button. Plugged in the old battery again and the keyboard remained lit for a little while longer, then nothing. Plugged in the new battery and now it won't even charge.

Please help cause I'm lost. How did it get worse all of a sudden

Dell XPS 15 9570: Electrical noise coming from the center of the laptop

I’m hearing an electrical noise coming from the center of my laptop. It sounds like voltage jumping over a small gap.

It’s not related to the fans.

this is the noise. Ignore the birds chirping in the background:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LCkWJ8S...

The noise is coming from this area of the laptop:

Dell XPS 15 9570: Sometimes the computer doesn't respond to the power button

I have the same problem: replaced with a Dell battery from iFixit about a month ago. Sometimes the computer responds to the power button, but often when it's been sleeping for a while, nothing happens. When I plug it in, it wakes right up, but there are 4 quick amber flashes on the front LED. The battery can be fully charged, and it still happens, but I haven't figured out any pattern for when it behaves normally and when it forgets how to find the battery. When I do get it running again with the power cord, I often get a Windows error, and programs like Chrome and Outlook have to ask to reload tabs and windows that were open when the computer went to sleep. Updated BIOS, tried changing power settings, etc.

I have reset the CMOS, and that didn't help.

Dell XPS 15 9570:

Translated

Does not respond to closing the lid.

Tell me please!

I have a device xps 9570, i8300h. Before that I read that there are problems with sleep mode. But I’m even more interesting, the laptop doesn’t react at all to closing the lid, even the screen does not go out. The settings were different, so that I would fall asleep and use hibernation when closing - the result is zero, generally absolutely 0 reaction, how it worked and works (it’s clear from the gap that the screen has not gone out). I have not heard of such a problem. I tried to close the lid by going into the BIOS - there, too, the screen does not go out (although I'm not sure I should).

Actually, the question is, does anyone know what kind of cover closing sensor is here? Magnetic Hall Sensor? For some reason I could not find.

And where is this sensor located? Is it possible to check it with an ordinary magnet?

I will be glad to any help, thanks in advance!
