Dell Latitude 10-ST2e Repair: Why won't my tablet start up?

After restarting my tablet, which said there was an update available, it turned off in the middle of restarting itself. Now each time I try to turn it on, it goes through the Dell logo loading screen and either goes black or goes to "advanced repair" which gives me several options, none of which help the problem as everything ends in the tablet going black and shutting off. Please help.

Edit: Apparently restarting it 20 times was not effective but restarting it a 21st time allowed it to boot up. Still not sure what happened, but it appears normal now. Can anyone tell me why it did this so I can avoid it happening again?

Dell XPS 18: What is a reasonable cost to replace the motherboard?

My Dell XPS 18 motherboard went out last week. I sent it in to the Best Buy repair service and they want to charge me $1060 to replace the motherboard. I am shopping around for a better deal. Is it worth replacing or is it better to invest in a new PC? In the past 5 years, when I've replaced PCs, they have lasted 1-2 years before dying on me. Advice?

Dell Venue 11 Pro: Tablet has an issue with rapid charging

I have a Venue 11 Pro that won’t rapid charge with the original Dell charging brick. I even tried another Dell Venue 11 brick, so that’s not the issue . The battery discharges while in use, even while plugged in. I checked the BIOS, and it’s only charging at 3W instead of 25W. It now has to charge overnight to reach 100%, where it it used to fully charge in a couple of hours. I brought it to IFIX New York, and they want $250 to repair it — just labor, no parts need replacing, apparently. It’s not worth $250, and it’s long out of warranty. Has anyone had this problem and knows a cheap fix, or a NYC repair shop that isn’t going to gouge? Other than that issue, it’s in perfect condition and works well. Thank you.
