I want to upgrade my RAM. How much RAM can i put in this laptop? And can i put 2 different Manufactured RAMs but with the same speed and ddr4?

Dell Vostro 3500: Fan not spinning at all.

So I noticed that the laptop overheats after a short while and powers off. Turns out it’s because the fan is not spinning at all. I disassembled the laptop completely and checked the connector and the solder under the sticker, and it looks fine.

For context: the adapter for the laptop has been damaged due to what I suspect to have been a power surge, not sure if this may or may not have damaged it.

I’m not planning to use the laptop for any huge loads so any tips on how I can keep the laptop cool enough to function are appreciated too.

my laptop model is dell vostro 3500. it is not powering up but power button is on. tried static flea power drain but not working. please help me.
