I configured and bought a Vostro 14 3468 WITH an optical drive in it. It arrived without one. Dell customer service and technical support said it never had one. iFixIt has a manual on installing and removing it, and Dell’s owner’s manual on their web site shows the optional Optical Drive. I verified the space is still there for it on the inside. I’m concerned they changed where it connects or something, and now it won’t work. Has anyone tried it recently? I purchased it 3 weeks ago in November 2018.
