Dell S718QL: After 20 minutes of normal use, the projector goes to gray screen

I have a Dell ultra short.throw, which I know is not made or even serviced anymore by Dell. The projector works fine for 20 minutes or so, and then it goes into a gray screen. The gray screen is still lit by the bulb but no image is coming out. The sound, if connected through Arc, is not affected. I tired taking it apart and dusted out the inside with canned air, but it still has the same issue. Any ideas?
