Dell Printer: How to clear paper jam behind fuser in Dell Printer 1355cn?

I have a Dell 1355cnw color laser printer which worked great until I tried printing on photo paper one day. The paper jammed and a piece of it ripped and (I think) is lodged behind the fuser. LCD shows error code 077-900. I have checked support.dell.com and various blogs and it seems like I'm not alone. Tried removing the six screws from the back and that doesn't work. Only one person said that they had success going in from the front of the printer, but no reply on how he did it. Cannot find a service manual and Dell support hasn't been much help. Also, can't find a Dell walk-in service center in the area.

Any thoughts?

Dell Printer: Clearing a Paper jam in Dell e525w where the back panel can't reach

I have a paper jam in my dell e525w printer. The usual approach of opening the back flipping the 2 blue levers won’t work because the paper is crimped up accordian-style at the top of the printer just before it comes out. Can’t get to it from the front nor the back.

Do I need to take the printer apart? Is there another way?

Dell 1710n: Can't print more than 2/3 of a A4 page

I was able to print 20400 pages with this printer when a paper jam occurred. I removed the jams opening the rear of the printer. Since then only the 2/3 upper parts of a A4 page could still be printed. I contacted the technical support of Dell. The only response I obtained was to buy a new printer !!! The problem is that I had recently bought 2 new toner cartridges. What can be done ? The only response from Dell was: you have 7 working days, following a purchase to renounce unilaterally and send back. Seeing that my guarantee was ended, they had nothing more to do !

Can I repair this breakdown ?

Update

I thank you for your suggestions but there was nothing that could solve the problem. I decided therefor to open my printer and found the cause of the problem: lastly I obtained only paper jams ! When I removed the jams opening the front cover, removing the tone cartridge and the drum, I observed that the upper bord of the pages were lightly burned. I dismantled then my printer. The two final rolls, 1- the cylinder containing the electrical resistance and 2- the second rubbery roll were pasted together and the gearing whose role is to turn them was broken. See images below.

Is there still something that can be done to resolve this problem ? Is it possible to buy new of second hand spare parts ?

Dell Printer: Dell E525W not recognizing (non Dell) toner and grinding gear problems

Hello,

We’re having issues with our Dell E525W toner cartridges. It’s been working fine with the non-dell toners for over a year now. All of a sudden, upon startup, the printer has been making a horrible noise of gears grinding from the area where the toner cartridges live. The printer seems to try around 5-10 times (grinding gear noise) over a minute or so and then gives up with an error.

After a few rounds of this, it told me the Yellow toner was low. With a new non-Dell toner cartridge, we are having the same problem: Horrible noise and a 093-919 error to “Check Yellow Cartridge.”

It seems possible this could be an issue with the way the toner cartridge is (or isn’t) seating in the printer. However, no matter how much I try to adjust or firmly seat the toner cartridge, it hasn’t changed.

I’ve updated the firmware to the latest I’ve found through the Dell site (01. 04. 12. 10. 3836) with no changes. Dell will attempt to help for the low price of $59, but I’d like to see if I can do something myself.

Anyone able to help? Thanks in advance.

This occasionally used laser printer gives a good colour print in all respects, except 100% black areas that appear blotchy. 90% black actually seems darker than 100%.

The black cartridge was a non-original, but I don't remember this effect earlier (it's reporting abouy 25% left).
