I am getting yellow vertical bands when I print in color. When I open the back panel, I can see a thin layer of yellow toner dust that is on the small section of the belt that is visible. How do I open things up so that I can clean the entire belt? Thanks!

Dell Printer: Paper jam behind fuser

Hi I have a C1660W laser printer and photo paper has jammed behind the fuser roller. I need to remove the cover(s) to get at the 25% that I have not managed to extract. Any help gratefully received. I did hope that the answer to the paper jam on the 1710n would help but the two screws at the front of the paper tray are not there on the 1660

Dell Printer: Dell C1765nf hangs some seconds after boot

Hello,

my Dell C1765nf printer stops working after some seconds after power on.

The buttons does not react and I already figured out that some seconds after start the web interface is not accessible at all.

So it seems that the boot is successful but crashs after some seconds.

I was already able to locate the motherboard and found the UART interface, but was not yet able to get any information out of it.

Are there any electrical components know to fail and cause this kind of problems?

EDIT1: I did a little further investigation and found out that the printer only crashs when the ethernet port is plugged in. If I remove the ethernet cable the printer keeps responsible. I also connected the printer directly to my laptop, giving it an ip address with dhcp. This also don't crash the printer.

yes, I have a dell c1765 nfw color laser printer. It was making grinding noises so I cleaned it and now it will not pick up the paper. Can someone please tell me how to take apart and where I can buy parts for this printer, please!! Any help is much appreciated!!

I have a Dell 1265 dwf printer. It indicates a paper jam inside the machine. I have searched every opening, even removing the bottom and the back, but I am unable to see any paper. Printer won't power up after household power surge. No motor sounds or lights. Printer was plugged into surge protector. Printer worked fine prior to surge. Plugged it into different outlets with same result.
